Music eNews - Issue #1 - Term 1, 2022
Learning an instrument can have an immense impact on cognitive development, social interaction and simply enjoying life! Here at St Francis Xavier’s School we are dedicated to offering opportunities for learners to participate, be creative and achieve through our music program. Our music tutors are all highly experienced, qualified musicians and teachers. They are dedicated to providing high level music tuition to our entire school community. Students receive one 30 minute lesson per week.
Some children may already have their own instrument, and some families may choose to purchase, however, there is always the option of hiring.
Why Hire?
Instruments can be expensive to buy and maintain. Hiring allows you to begin the learning process without the high purchase cost. At SFX we have dealt with Size Music for many years, and we highly recommend them for their quality instruments and service. For more information call 1800 023 335 visit their website.
Lesson fees are based upon the number of weeks a tutor is able to work per term. Payable at the beginning of each term, individual lessons are $31, $19 duo and $18 group lessons.
All accounts are payable directly to the tutor. A late fee of $15 may apply unless prior arrangements have been made with the tutor. At the commencement of lessons each year, there is a $25 per student Administration fee.
Full details on Music Tuition can be found in our Music Brochure.
